WebThe Early English church is a simple flint and stone building with a clay tiled roof and oak shingled spire and three lovely sounding bells which are rung before weekly services. It is a welcoming but peaceful church within the well maintained country style churchyard including a couple of commanding horse chestnut trees.
By the early part of the 13th century there was a windmill on the Chiltern escarpment at Wainhill, about 1 mile (1.6 km) east of Chinnor village.
